We work with precision. We believe in making the least amount of mess and disruption possible when we work. We take the time before, during, and after a project to ensure a clean worksite with minimal invasion and damage to the surrounding areas. Our goal is to make each site look like we were never there, once we have completed a job. This attention to detail and extra steps in projects is why our clients call us for every excavation project they have.
Service Area
We provide excavation services in the Central Florida Area. We cover from Orange County to Hendry County. While we prefer to stay within a 3 hour radius of Highlands County, we will extend that territory based on the services needed.

About
Jeff Grooms founded Southern Excavation, Inc in 1998 after receiving an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps. Growing up in rural Ohio on a farm, Jeff has spent his entire life around heavy equipment. Jeff has over 35 years of heavy machinery experience that allows Southern Excavation to accurately excavate projects with minimal intrusion to the surrounding areas.
